Museum to break ground

Ceremonial ground will be broken at 10 a.m. Friday for the History Museum of Monroe County's long-awaited, 3,708 square foot facility.

The building and the ceremony will be off Elaine Drive next to the Bellefontaine Historic Site in Waterloo.

Local contractors and professionals who have or will work on the facility include Mike Schneider of Quadrant Design, Kent Nurnberger of TWM, Inc., Tom Cleary and Butch Sparwasser of Cleary Corp. and Derrick Huebner of Huebner Excavating and Concrete.
